Adopt-a-School Sponsors

  Banco de Credito del Peru (BCP) has donated $5,000 for the construction of a school in the Piura area of Northern Peru. BCP is a major subsidiary of Credicorp, the leading Peruvian financial corporation. BCP is a avid supporter of projects which benefit communities at large.
  The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) has sponsored three school construction projects in Honduras. BCG has a long standing relationship with Childreach and the Harvard Business School and an enduring commitment to corporate responsibility and the communities BCG serves.
  The Harvard Business School (HBS) classes of 1997 and 1998 have raised funds for the sponsorship of a school in Puerto Morazan in Nicaragua.

Technology and other Sponsors:

  @rts@lliance, an entertainment research and development firm, has provided us with quality digital video cameras and laptop computers.
  Autocom, that sells specialist communications equipment, has supported us with partial sponsorship of their innovative equipment that allows the motorcycle and car to communicate.Video coming.
Mobiq (A joint-venture between British Telecom and Telenor) has provided us with a satellite phone unit to enable remote uploading of text, still and video images for virtual viewing.
  Infocus has provided us with projectors for the high quality display of the Internet Seminar content.
  Patagonia has supported us with partial sponsorship of travel apparel.
PlanetAll is hosting this website and enabling the proliferation of our virtual community. We are also using they're site as a demonstration site during our Internet Seminars.
  Vivo has contributed its advanced video streaming technology to enable the viewing of moving pictures on our website.

Student Ambassadors:

Many classmates, known to us as 'ambassadors', have been very helpful in many ways, either by helping us generate enthusiasm for Adopt-a-School and the Internet Seminars in their home countries or by assisting us in the many facets of planning the Expedition.

Aldo DiBelardino photo Aldo DiBelardino (US), one of the original planners for the EfE, was unable to join the journey, but has provided great support in preparing the Suburban for the travel. Many thanks also to his parents for their help and warm hospitality.

Peter Kellner (US)
, also one of the founders of the Expedition idea, has helped us with valuable ideas and contacts throughout the planning and implementation. Through his own work with Endeavor, Peter's brain-child, he constantly runs into people interested in our Expedition and its purpose.

Alex Oxenford photo Alejandro Oxenford (Argentina) has helped establish important contacts in Argentina through his strong connections with local non-profit organizations.
Veronica Serra photo Veronica Serra (Brazil) introduced us to a close friend, Roberto Smeraldi, who has been very helpful in planning our crossing of the Amazon.
Victor Silhy photo Victor Silhy (El Salvador) not only helped us with many Central American contacts for the Adopt-a-School program, but ended up hosting the Internet Seminar (and us) in his San Salvador offices.
Daniela Soares photo Daniela Soares (Brazil) made several valuable contacts for us in Sao Paulo and assisted us in the subsequent follow-up, getting us positioned for a very successful Internet Seminar there in September.
Lider Sucre photo Lider Sucre (Panama) helped us both on the Central American part of the Adopt-a-School program and in our planning for the Panama/Colombia boat crossing.
Erick Sydow photo Erick Sydow (Venezuela) established several alumni contacts for in Caracas allowing us to plan our Internet Seminar in conjunction with the inauguration of the HBS Club of Venezuela.
